We had a scare over the weekend, but I will begin by saying everything is fine! I woke up Saturday with severe cramps and passed a blood clot. We talked to the midwife and she said as long as there was no more bleeding I didn't need to come to the emergency room and just get in to the office on Monday. Talk about a waiting game, these things can't happen during the week when the doctor is open. So I just relaxed over the weekend, not doing anything and things seemed normal. We got in to the doctor on Monday and had a ultrasound and everything is fine! We saw the baby and got to see and hear the heartbeat. We were very relieved. The doctor said it could have been because of my bi-cornate uterus or some scar tissue from Meredith. He reiterated everything was fine, but told me to limit my activity for a few weeks.
The doctor also gave me a prescription for Phenigran for my nausea and vomiting. This pregnancy has been so different from Meredith! I feel good today though so I am very grateful for the good drugs. It is nice to be at least a little interested in food.

Hi Stacie, Glad you are doing ok. Your mom probably told you that I emailed her because I was concerned by the recent lack of updates to the blog. Do what the Dr. says and take it easy!!!! Love, Gayle
That is very scary. So are you working? What exactly does limit your activity mean. More details, sister!
