Cousin It

This is what I have to deal with every morning. While I manage to make it look cute most days, it takes a lot of de-tangler to fix it.

So out dilemma is to cut or not to cut. I have been avoiding Meredith's first haircut for quite some time and while I don't want her to have bangs I cannot help but think we need to get a trim. I am needing feedback here, so please leave a comment.

Well, it is super cute in the ponytail so don't cut it so much that you can't do that anymore. Caroline has WAY less hair than that, and I am planning to do a tiny trim soon, despite the opposition from Mike and my mom. It's just ragged, and I think it would grow better if the ends were healthy. But M has lots of great hair so it may be that the ends don't need a trim...and you'll just have to rely on detangler to help tame the tangles.

DON'T CUT IT!!! Just my two cents, but I think it's beautiful. I think it would be cool to be able to say, "We've never cut her hair." You can't say that with a boy and not get bad looks. :)

She might loose her baby curls :( which would be sad...Unless you cut it really short, you would probably still have to use the detangler. Does it hurt her when you brush it? If she's able to sit while you fix it each day...then, I would say leave it long. Her hair is beautiful!

At about that age, I found it easier to keep my daughter's hair in a little chin-length bob. There were still a few tangles to deal with, but no more cousin it. But she also didn't always want to let me keep it in pony tails & such.

Also, looks like you are in Georgia, too. ♥
